Why advocacy is important

I feel that am making a true impact when I am able to advocate. If you are someone who is looking to change the world for the better or want to feel internal blissfulness try helping those around you. As a soon to be college freshman, I have gone through the college application process thoroughly. People notice when you speak from teenagers to adults.

Look at Greta Thunberg for example she was a simple young female who was angry at the lack of concern over the health of the planet. Just like Greta Thunberg, you can make an impact small or large.

Neither does your advocacy have to be a gran scheme. As we recognize Mental Health Health Awareness Month, let us remember the work of the advocates: the families, the friends, the peers, the social workers, the nurses, the doctors, the ones who work day in and day out to help better the lives of those they care about and serve. Their work does not go unnoticed. You must be logged in to post a comment.
